The Village of Rochester contracts with the Racine County Sheriff's Office to provide professional law enforcement services to our community. Patrol Deputies serve as the primary law enforcement presence within the Village, working to protect residents, businesses, and visitors while maintaining public safety and enforcing state and local laws.
The Racine County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division is staffed by dedicated Patrol Deputies and Supervisors who provide patrol services throughout Racine County. Their responsibilities include responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, conducting investigations, enforcing traffic laws, assisting residents, and maintaining a visible presence within the community.
Patrol operations are supported by several specialized units, including the Criminal Investigations Bureau, Metro Drug Unit, Water Patrol, and K-9 Unit. These resources provide additional expertise and support when needed.
As one of several municipalities that contract with the Racine County Sheriff's Office, the Village of Rochester benefits from comprehensive law enforcement services and access to countywide resources. This partnership helps ensure consistent, professional, and effective public safety coverage for our residents.
