NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Village Board of the Village of Rochester, Racine County, Wisconsin, of a public hearing on Ordinance No. 2025-8:
“An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Code of the Village of Rochester to Standardize the Definition of Commercial Vehicle”
to be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 7:15 p.m. in the Rochester Village Hall, 300 West Spring Street, Rochester, Wisconsin. This location is handicap accessible. If you have any other special needs, please contact the Rochester Village Clerk at (262) 534-2431.
THE ORDINANCE STANDARDIZES THE DEFINITION OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLE USED WITHIN THE ZONING CODE:
SECTION 1: Simplifies much of the language in section 35-21 related to parking and now requires that section 35-300's definition of commercial vehicle be applied to section 35-21.
SECTION 2: Aligns the restrictions for parking commercial vehicles in the A-2 zoning district by conditional use to reflect the definition provided in section 35-300.
