Kate Schaffer Riverside Park

This park consists of approximately 3.89 acres of beautiful riverfront land and was generously donated in 2024. Planning for the future of the park is still underway, and we’re excited about the possibilities ahead. Rochester Commons Park

208 W. Spring Street, (Rochester Public Library and Village Hall Grounds), offers a full basketball court and playground equipment for the kids

Case Eagle Park & Jean M. Jacobson Dog Park

The park entrance is located just West of the intersection of State Highway 36 and County Highway "J" (S. Rochester Street in the Village). This 239-acre park contains two baseball diamonds, nature trails, a fenced-in dog park, fishing on the Fox River, and a canoe launch. A Racine County bike trail includes this park in a continuous trail from the City of Burlington north to Wind Lake.

What You Need To Know

This Park has no reservable picnic areas. There are picnic tables scattered around the park and are available for use on a first come, first served basis.

Saller Woods

400 Block, North Milwaukee Ave
(Sth 36), Rochester

The park entrance is located just south of where the Fox River crosses State Highway 36. This 91-acre park runs alongside the river and contains nature, bike and cross country ski trails.

Wadewitz Nature Park

2716 Buena Park RdBurlington, WI 53105

The park entrance is located on Buena Park Road just west of the Village of Waterford water tower. This 176-acre park functions as a primitive group camp site with a lodge and many hiking and cross country ski trails. This site contains some of the finest glacial topography and wooded vegetation to be found in the county.

    topography and wooded vegetation
  • The park also offers the following recreational
    activities:
    • Hiking trails

Group Campsite Reservations

  • Group camping is only available for chartered/non-profit organizations. A 501(c)(3) will be required to finalize your reservation. 
  • Wadewitz reservations will only be accepted by phone (262) 886-8440
  • Group camping is available year-round and may be reserved anytime throughout the year
  • Water pumps are shut off from mid-October through April (not including the sink in the upper barn)
