Welcome to the Village of Rochester!
Rochester is a welcoming village in western Racine County, known for its rural beauty, small-town feel, and close-knit community. Incorporated in 1912, the Village is located between Burlington and Waterford, with Milwaukee, Racine, Waukesha, and Lake Geneva within commuting distance.
One of Rochester’s best-known traditions is its Memorial Day parade, which dates back to 1867 and is the longest continuously running Memorial Day parade in Wisconsin. Each year, residents and visitors gather for the parade and memorial service, featuring the beloved white horse and the wreath-lowering ceremony over the Fox River. It’s a moving tribute to those who served and a tradition that brings generations together.
From scenic open spaces and local events to nearby shops, restaurants, and jobs, Rochester offers a peaceful place to live and a friendly place to visit. We invite you to explore the Village and discover what makes Rochester special.
