Obtaining an Absentee Ballot by Mail

Any registered voter may request to vote an absentee ballot instead of voting at the polls on Election Day. The easiest and quickest way to request an absentee ballot by mail is to visit MyVote Wisconsin and follow the instructions under "Vote Absentee by Mail."

Otherwise, you may complete an official application for an absentee ballot and specify whether you wish a ballot to be sent to you for the primary or election or both. You may also request an absentee ballot by letter or email. Your written request must list your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature. Special absentee voting application provisions apply to electors who are indefinitely confined to home or a care facility, in the military, hospitalized, or serving as a sequestered juror. If this applies to you, contact the Clerk's Office.

In-Person Early Absentee Voting

You also have the option of voting absentee in person in the Clerk's Office at the Village Hall. In-person absentee voting always begins the Tuesday two weeks before Election Day and runs through the Friday before Election Day, 8:30am to 4:00pm, with hours extended until 5pm on the Friday before the election.
