2020 GENERAL ELECTION
Tuesday, November 3, 2020
The 2020 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The following offices that will be on the ballot: President and Vice President of the United States, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, Representatives to the Assembly and District Attorney.
The polls will open on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rochester Village Hall 300 W. Spring St. TYPE D Notice
For those unable to vote in person on Election Day, there are two additional ways to vote. TYPE E Notice
Absentee Vote by Mail: You can receive a ballot by mail by filling out an APPLICATION FOR ABSENTEE BALLOT, request a ballot online at https://myvote.wi.gov, send a request in writing to the Village Clerk P.O. Box 65, Rochester WI 53167 or send an email to the Village Clerk [email protected].
A copy of a Photo ID must accompany your request. Click HERE for acceptable forms of photo ID’s or visit www.BringIt.wi.gov
For anyone who has a request already on file, ballots will be mailed out as soon as the ballots are available.
In Person Early vote: In person early voting will begin no earlier than Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In person early voting ends on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
For those not registered, proof of residence is acceped in the following forms: WI Driver’s License/ID, real estate tax bill, paycheck, utility bill i.e phone, gas, electric, bank statement. Click HERE for a full list of acceptable forms or call the clerk’s office at 262-534-1181.
