The Village Board passed an ordinance in 2016 requiring a permit to discharge fireworks in the Village of Rochester. Permits can be obtained at the Village Clerk-Treasurer’s office for a fee of $15.00.
This year, fireworks can only be discharged on Wednesday, July 3rd – Saturday, July 6th and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. You must acquire a separate permit for each day the fireworks are to be discharged. Permits must be acquired by June 30th.
