Racine County, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), is proposing a Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) project located at the intersection of County A (Plank Road) and County J (English Settlement Avenue) in the Village of Rochester. This project intends to reconstruct the intersection into a single lane roundabout, add curb and gutter, and improve roadway drainage with the overall goal of increasing driver safety at the intersection. You are invited to attend the second in-person public involvement meeting to receive updates on the project, get your questions answered, and provide comments for the project team. 

The meeting will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Rochester Municipal Hall located at 300 W. Spring St., Rochester WI
