NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Village Board of the Village of Rochester, Racine County, Wisconsin, of a public hearing on Ordinance No. 2025-1:
“An Ordinance Amending Certain Sections of the Village of Rochester Zoning Code to Correct and Clarify Minor Errors”

THE ORDINANCE CORRECTS MINOR ERRORS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ROCHESTER ZONING CODE:
SECTION 1: The proposed adds the R-10 Residential Farming District and the B-7 Mixed-Business Use District to the list of zoning districts located within Section 35-29, entitled “Zoning Districts,” of the Village of Rochester Municipal Code.
SECTION 2: The proposed ordinance repeals and recreates Section 35-34 entitled “R-4 Multiple-Family Residential District,” Subsection A. entitled “Uses,” Paragraph 1. entitled “Permitted Principal Uses,” and removes an unnecessary reference within that section.
SECTION 3: The proposed ordinance repeals and recreates Section 36-500 entitled “Violations and Penalties,” Subsection C. entitled “Penalties,” Paragraph 2. entitled “Double Fees, Injunctions and Suspension or Revocation,” and corrects a reference to the penalty provision located in Section 35-100(K).
