May 2, 2022 Public Hearing on Proposed Land Use Plan Amendment

 

Notice is hereby given that the Rochester Village Board will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Rochester Village Hall, 300 W. Spring Street, Rochester, Wisconsin.  Said public hearing is on a proposed amendment to the Village of Rochester future recommended land use map found in Appendix A of the “2050 Land Use Plan, Village of Rochester, WI”.

 

The Village staff, on behalf of the Village of Rochester Plan Commission and Village Board, has submitted a recommendation and request to change the land use designation of approximately 9.86 acres of land located approximately 800-feet southwest of 33633 Oak Knoll Road, Rochester, Wisconsin, from its current land use designation of “Agricultural Land” in the Plan to the new land use designation of “Rural Density Residential and Agricultural Land” in the Plan to allow for the creation of three residential lots on the property.
